Hi there, I'm Lindsey!

Life hurts! Let’s break; everyone needs to talk and unpack their emotional bag because life can beat us up. The collaborative therapy journey is a unique opportunity to open new doors or peel back the layers of life without the fear of doing it alone. In such a fast-paced, demanding world, it’s important to take time for self-care, and therapy can be an important component of that. Everyone is an expert on their own life; however, complex relationships, demanding careers, and the intricacies of our family systems can be confusing and often feel at odds with one another. My role is to help you sort through and explore incongruencies in your life to communicate better and meet your own needs while being present for those you love. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, aged 8 to 78, whose challenges have included addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychotic disorders, divorce, blended families, LGBTQ+, and probation/parole, among others. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to most things, especially therapy. For this reason, I draw from a cognitive-behavioral perspective that is trauma-informed and culturally humble while adapting my practice to the needs of the person in front of me. While therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, it does require a fit between therapist and client.
