My name is Amy Modlin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have 15 years of experience providing therapy for individuals facing a variety of issues. My approach to therapy is person-centered. I walk alongside my clients to guide the process of growth, healing, and increased insight. I specialize in addictions/substance use, depression/anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, work-life stressors and life transitions.
My approach
I use a variety of modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, MI, and Mindfulness to help my clients develop the coping skills they need to manage their symptoms and achieve goals of overall well-being.
My focus
I work with clients that struggle with depression, anxiety, work stress, life transitions, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, sexual trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and family dysfunction.

I like to create an environment of safety, warmth, and acceptance for my clients.
My goals for you
I like to meet my clients where they are in life and work together to achieve their personal goals. My clients have the freedom to adjust or change their goals at any time along the journey.
