I am a therapist with over 25 years of experience working with clients. I have a down-to-earth and straightforward approach, coupled with a good sense of humor.
My approach
Through my own therapy, I discovered that an interactive style combined with being a good listener works best. I facilitate clients in finding their way through emotional struggles.
My focus
I work with a broad range of client concerns, including crisis situations, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, sexuality, and more. I am willing to see individuals, families, and couples.
My communication style
Sometimes just talking through a problem can help a person find a better way of dealing with it. Other times it takes more intensive therapeutic work. I respect the uniqueness of each of my clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare includes completing clinical hours for licensure at Western Medical Center in Anaheim from September 1987 to June 1988, Los Altos Hospital in Long Beach from June 1988 to September 1991, and College Hospital Cerritos from September 1991 to February 1992.
