I'm not the type of therapist who just nods and smiles. We'll set clear goals, check in periodically to see if you're actually moving towards those goals and I often throw in some humor- life's too short to not be able to laugh sometimes.
My approach
My style is interactive, attentive, and engaging with the goal of creating a safe environment to empower growth, insight, and healing. In therapy, we will explore your inner world to understand the underlying causes of your pain, to heal, and to access and expand your capacity to live your best life.
My focus
I work with individuals, including minors aged 13-17. My specialties include anger management, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harming, stress, trauma, and PTSD.
My communication style
I'm direct, attentive, and aim to create a safe space for open dialogue. Expect me to listen closely, ask questions, and even use humor when appropriate. My goal is to engage with you authentically to foster growth and healing.
My journey to mental healthcare
From 2007 to 2009, I completed 3000 clinical hours at Airport Marina Counseling Services in Los Angeles to become a licensed therapist. This experience solidified my passion for helping people heal, grow, and live their best lives.
My goals for you
I believe that you shouldn't have to depend on your therapist for the rest of your life. My goal is to give you tools to help you tackle the hard things. And when you reach your goals, you'll graduate from therapy empowered and equipped.
