Hi there, I'm Lyndsie!

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience, Lyndsie has provided therapeutic counseling, case management, and intervention services to children, adults, and families in private practice, service agency settings, and clinic settings. Lyndsie holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, Public Policy, and Law, as well as having extensive experience working with children on the Autism spectrum and their families.

My approach

Lyndsie's approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on reaching a mutual understanding to help clients make forward progress toward health and overall well-being. Lyndsie employs a variety of modalities including Art Therapy, Attachment-based, Client-Centered Therapy, Coaching, Compassion-Focused, Eclectic, Grief Therapy, Humanistic, Narrative, Person-Centered, Play Therapy, Sandplay, Solution Focused, Strength-Based, Supportive, and Trauma Focused techniques.

My focus

Lyndsie works with adults and minors (ages 8-17) on a range of issues including Addiction, Adolescents/Teens, Individuals on the Autism Spectrum, Behavioral Issues, Children, Chronic Pain, Developmental Disorders, Divorce, Grief, Intellectual Disability, Learning Disabilities, Parenting, School Issues, Substance Use, and Pregnancy/Prenatal/Postpartum concerns. She is also fluent in Spanish.

My communication style

Lyndsie's communication style aims to meet clients where they are. She works towards building a compassionate and collaborative relationship to reach a mutual understanding and help clients make positive progress. Lyndsie strongly believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the best indicators of success in therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

Throughout Lyndsie's career, she has been driven by a passion for supporting and advocating for children and families, especially those involved in high-conflict, custodial litigation disputes. This motivated Lyndsie to pursue a doctoral degree in psychology, public policy, and law. She has also worked diligently to develop and implement long-term, innovative, team-based projects and collaborated with county-wide programs, school districts, and local agencies.

My goals for you

Lyndsie aims to help clients reach a place of forward progress, improved health, and overall well-being, through mutual collaboration and care. She offers compassionate support, builds positive connections based on open communication, and helps each client process complex feelings as they arise while offering support, and validation.

My first session with you

Our first session together will be a combination of reviewing your history as well as what brings you to therapy at this moment. We will also explore how I can best be of support to you during this time. My goal is to work collaboratively as a team to ensure that you feel well-supported throughout this process.
