Hi there, I'm Tori!

I am an Asian American licensed clinical social worker licensed in California with over five years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Loma Linda University.

My approach

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My counseling style is warm, interactive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-focused.

My focus

I have worked with individuals dealing with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, racial discrimination, bicultural stress, aging, anger management, behavioral issues, divorce, domestic violence, emotional disturbance, family conflict, life transitions, racial identity, racial trauma, self-esteem, sexual abuse, trauma and PTSD, and women's issues.

I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I look forward to engaging in supportive dialog to help you reach your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

Driven by a passion for helping others, I pursued a Master of Social Work degree at Loma Linda University, which I completed in 2018. I went on to gain diverse clinical experience, working at the Pacific Clinics - Asian Pacific Family Center from 2018-2019, and then at the San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services from 2019-2021, supporting individuals from various backgrounds facing a range of life challenges.

My first session with you

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to explore your background, current concerns, and goals. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We'll work collaboratively to gain insight and develop a personalized treatment plan to help you move forward.
