I have been working with and supporting children, teens, and adults for twenty-five years. I enjoy helping others to conquer anxiety and depressive symptoms, to better understand their choices and behaviors. When we find our inner authentic self and begin to find the courage to share that truth, then we begin to balance our lives, and that is where we truly find our strength.
My approach
I use a variety of models and interventions to help you work through your anxiety, depression, stage of life struggles, addictive behaviors, and desires to find your authentic and balanced self.
My focus
I work with people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. Often, I am able to help them recover from past traumas, adjust to life transitions, and change their moods and behaviors in order to find more balance and peace in their life. I am comfortable working with a wide range of diagnoses and presentations.
My communication style
I work very collaboratively with my clients, respecting their agency and autonomy in their life. The connection between therapist and client is the foundation for creating change in the direction of their choice.
My journey to mental healthcare
People have always told me that I am approachable and warm, and I have utilized that gift to support people in finding balance and harmony in their lives. Watching struggles in my own family has motivated me to serve people in need and become part of the solution.
My goals for you
Goals are created collaboratively between client and therapist, creating specific, and measurable goals that reflect the priorities of the client.
My first session with you
Clients should expect to hear what therapy will look like and the boundaries involved, to share about their symptoms and impairments, to find hope and support in their journey, and information about my experiences and approach in order to make their best choice.
