I am a Marriage & Family Therapist with a passion for healthy relationships and helping people heal from emotional and spiritual wounds suffered through unhealthy relationships, loss, or other life traumas. This is what I strive to pursue in my work with individuals and couples who seek my therapy services.
My approach
The main approach of my work is from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective. For those who seek and choose to receive Christian counseling as part of their treatment, I am happy to integrate a Biblical Christian perspective in order to care for the whole person.
My focus
I work with individuals seeking help with issues such as anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, mood disorders, relationship issues, spirituality, and trauma/PTSD.
My communication style
I communicate with empathy and understanding, offering a space for you to feel heard. My approach is direct yet compassionate as we explore your thoughts and feelings together. I aim to create an open dialogue where we can work collaboratively towards your healing and growth.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Science degree to pursue my passion for helping people heal and grow through therapy. I am fluent in Spanish in addition to English.
My goals for you
I strongly believe that growth comes as a byproduct of healing and that is why my practice motto is: "A Place for Healing and Growth". My goal is to help you heal from wounds and traumas so you can experience personal growth and healthier relationships.
