Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #109070 Jillian received her Masters in Psychology for Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in 2012. Jillian believes a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment is essential in allowing clients to foster a strong, therapeutic alliance. Jillian is an integrative therapist who believes that all parts of the self play an important role in a person's ability to be functioning at their highest level. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques including Psycho-dynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Narrative Therapy to help the client re-author their own personal narrative in accordance with the Mind Map System. The utilization of Art can be an integral part of therapy in helping to unlock a client's creative potential as well as being a viable and valuable form of communication.
