As a therapist, my work is grounded in a positive theoretical orientation that recognizes the innate desire for emotional and mental well-being within all individuals. I hold a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling, which has provided me with a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities. My clinical training took place from January 2017 to March 2019 under the supervision of Shannon Brueckner, MFT #43161 (group supervision) and Leigh Martin, MFT #51033 (individual supervision) at John Muir Behavioral Health Services in Concord, CA. This experience solidified my passion for helping others achieve emotional wellness.
My approach
I believe that each person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints holding them back. To support these goals, I tailor my therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
My focus
My patient focus is on working with individuals to help them navigate challenges and achieve their mental health objectives. I specialize in treating a range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, grief, parenting issues, prenatal and postpartum difficulties, relationship problems, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, substance use, trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, career challenges, coping skills, and family conflict.
