Hi there, I'm Staci!

HOPE!! Hope is paramount to navigating this thing called LIFE. Life is complex, unpredictable, and challenging. I aim to serve as a conduit for change while empowering individuals to gain the skills necessary to lead a healthy and functioning journey in life. I am a seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience in many different capacities within the mental health field.

My approach

I believe in approaching life's struggles from a humanistic and holistic approach. My foundation is client-centered and eclectic, with many useful tools in my belt. I aim to be Empathic yet Empowering, Collaborative, and Creative. Genuine and present.

My focus

I have experience working with a continuum of developmental stages of life. I am competent in working with Individuals and Minors (13-17) on a variety of therapeutic issues including\: Management of Emotions Challenging and debilitating Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Depression, Family Conflict, Grief, Life Transitions, Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD), Parenting, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Self-Harming, Abuse, Stress, Trauma and PTSD.

My communication style

My open and compassionate environment will serve as the venue for a safe and cathartic experience. I don't attempt to fit my clients into a box that is comfortable for me, I am here to help you, by meeting you where you are at. I possess a straightforward and honest communication style.

My journey to mental healthcare

A strong character trait that I possess and believe helps me do my job, is that I feel emotional deeply. This has always helped me be able to connect with others. I am interested in how our minds, emotions, and behaviors work, and learning to get them to work for us is a valuable tool. I am a lifetime learner, not only for personal growth but also striving to learn new ways to help people in my professional capacity. I have been blessed with opportunities to work with people of all ages, struggles, and severity levels. Worked with foster care and Transitional youth, residential treatment programs for adolescents, school-based youth, and families while working for a non-profit agency for 13 years, eventually becoming the Mental Health Director during the last 6 years with the agency. Leaving to become the Clinical Director of an Adult Inpatient Mental Health facility, which eventually included serving as the administrator of the hospital. In 2020 my journey led me to begin my own practice full-time, which has served to be an enriching endeavor.

My goals for you

I want to help you overcome the obstacles that exist on your path that prevent you from leading the life you deserve. The obstacle can be new and acute or life-altering and pervasive, we can work together to overcome and free your path. From healing to restructuring, I would like to help facilitate your therapeutic journey in a safe and ethical environment. Let me work alongside you and your family to successfully develop and accomplish YOUR goals in life.

My first session with you

Will focus on providing you with information about myself, the process, and what you can expect moving forward. I believe in a significant emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and will advocate for the clients' freedom of choice in choosing the right clinician. We will focus on building rapport and gathering necessary information for an accurate assessment and effective treatment plan. Let's do the work......together.
