As a therapist, I appreciate being a part of my clients' growth and exploration of how they have experienced challenges in the past. I aim to meet clients where they are at in the present moment to help them work toward their goals.
My approach
I utilize a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to facilitate change and growth in my clients. CBT focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being.
My focus
My patient focus includes working with individuals and couples. I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, depression, coping skills, family conflict, job stress, life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, stress, trauma/PTSD, women's issues, and marital/pre-marital concerns.
My communication style
My communication style centers on being client-focused. I aim to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I also draw upon narrative and strength-based approaches in my work.
My journey to mental healthcare
I hold a Master of Social Work degree which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective mental health services. Helping others navigate life's challenges and transitions is deeply meaningful to me.

My first session with you
In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you and understanding your reasons for seeking therapy. We'll discuss your background, current challenges, and hopes for the future. My priority is to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with you from the very beginning. Together, we'll start to develop a plan to help you reach your goals and live the life you envision.
