Hello, I am Lisa Frampton, LCSW based in Fresno, California, and providing telehealth services statewide. I work with adults of all ages. I specialize in working with anxiety and depressive disorders using Talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Strength-based approaches.
My approach
I view each client as having unique and individual needs and develop treatment goals around this. I find that utilizing a strength-based and person-centered approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works well together to target increasing overall wellness emotional healing and create changes in thoughts and behaviors.
My focus
I typically work with adults of all ages going through mild to moderate depression and anxiety due to life changes, trauma, and grief and loss issues. I also enjoy working especially with women's issues.
My communication style
I offer my clients a safe place to share about themselves by being genuine and nonjudgmental. My communication style involves developing a supportive style of rapport because I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. I also do have a good sense of humor which often I find laughter is part of good therapy too.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I find great joy in helping others to improve the quality of their life and ultimately feel better about themselves. I have always felt drawn to those who are suffering. I like to motivate others to be their best selves.
My goals for you
I approach goal setting with my clients as an important part of their wellness and healing. I like to set goals in the beginning and continue to evaluate progress regularly. Often goals need to be modified and changed tailored to the client's needs.
My first session with you
What you can expect in the first session with me will be some questions to understand better how you are feeling and what is important to you. The first session is important to begin developing trust and making sure I am a good fit for you.
