Hi there, I'm Kathleen!

Hi! My name is Kathleen Felber and I am a LMFT in CA. I help work through symptoms of depression, anxiety, and relational or life transition issues. You can expect a genuine, open-minded, and inclusive approach from me. I work collaboratively with my clients to meet them where they are and set goals to help them be the best version of themselves.

My approach

Using a client-centered and trauma-informed approach, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I use interventions from CBT, DBT, and family systems to improve symptoms and help you develop coping strategies, build resilience, and overcome challenges.

My focus

I prefer to work with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family issues. I also enjoy working with adults with anxiety and depression as well as life transitions or relational issues.

My communication style

I am authentic, and nonjudgmental and use humor to build rapport with clients. I have a direct approach to ensure we are working on goals to optimize healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

I worked in residential treatment for at-risk youth for 7 years. I love helping others and being a support for those going through a difficult time.

My goals for you

I work collaboratively with my clients to ensure we are working on setting realistic goals that will improve quality of life.

My first session with you

In the first session, you should expect to get to know each other so we can establish a therapeutic relationship. I will give you the space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
