Seeking therapy is a great act of self-care, and I commend you for taking the first step. You may have felt overwhelmed for some time now, and now you are ready to experience life differently. Perhaps you are going through a difficult time with anxiety, work stress, divorce, a breakup, an illness, or any change in your life, and managing it on your own has been challenging. And yet, a tiny voice inside of you may say that things COULD be different. I fully believe that you can change your life, and I am here to help guide you on that journey.
My approach
In my practice, I provide an empathic, person-centered approach to helping you discover what would create the change you want to see in your life. I am eclectic and tailor my approach to each client, drawing from Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory to help you find your inner knowing. My goal is to meet you where you are at and collaboratively develop a therapeutic plan that fits your unique needs and goals.
My focus
I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, women's issues, self-esteem, stress, life transitions, coping skills, creative blocks, and job stress. My practice sub-specialty is working with writers and creatives to overcome the barriers to unleashing their creativity. I am passionate about empowering my clients to overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead more fulfilling lives.

My communication style is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, validated, and encouraged to explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I will listen attentively to your experiences and provide feedback and insights to help you gain clarity and develop new perspectives.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from San Diego State University. Following my education, I completed extensive clinical training hours for licensure under the supervision of experienced therapists at various locations in Northern California from 2016 to 2019. This diverse clinical experience has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to effectively support clients from all walks of life.

My first session with you
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. I will actively listen to your story, concerns, and goals for therapy. We will collaboratively explore your current challenges and begin to identify potential areas for growth and change. This initial session will lay the foundation for our work together and help us determine the most effective path forward in your healing journey.
