As a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping you understand yourself on a deeper level and make important changes in your life. My background spans community mental health, social services, and case management in the medical sector.
My approach
I tailor my approach to each individual's needs, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, and Solution-Focused Treatment. My aim is to help you process your experiences, develop mindfulness and insight, and foster personal growth. Together we will develop coping strategies you can apply to everyday life.
My focus
I work with a wide range of clients, from children as young as 5 to older adults dealing with geriatric and end-of-life issues. I treat general mood disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, and Adjustment Disorders. I also have experience with adolescents, life transitions, and parent-child relationship problems.

My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare began with a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara, where I double majored in Spanish and Psychology. I went on to obtain my Master's in Social Work from Cal State LA, with a focus on Older Adults. I completed my clinical hours for licensure at The Help Group in Van Nuys from 2010-2012.
