My communication style
I provide a supportive environment to explore your beliefs and behaviors to help move you toward meaningful and healthy relationships with yourself and those around you. The work begins with you, and I want to be a part of your healing journey.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have worked in various settings including county mental health offices, community mental health clinics, schools/universities, and hospital settings. These experiences drove my passion to provide psychotherapy for individuals who struggle with their painful pasts, turn to the emotion of anger, and have difficulty with forgiveness.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping mechanisms, improve your relationships, and ultimately live a more fulfilling life. I aim to empower you with the self-awareness and skills needed to overcome challenges and enact positive changes.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaboratively identify your goals. I will gather relevant background information and begin to develop an understanding of your unique needs, perspectives and strengths. We will also discuss my therapeutic approach and determine if we are a good fit to work together. Your comfort and sense of connection are priorities from the very start.
