Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Victoria!

My name is Victoria Haghnazarian, I'm a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology/behavioral medicine. I help patients manage chronic conditions, improve health behaviors, and cope with the psychological aspects of illness. I have experience working with adults facing various conditions.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is patient-centered, focusing on understanding each individual's unique needs and experiences. I use CBT. By helping patients become more self-aware, we work together to change maladaptive thoughts and behaviors to improve health and overall well-being.

My focus

I work primarily with adults seeking support for a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, and management of chronic conditions. My goal is to help patients expand their strengths and overcome barriers interfering with their personal growth, health, and well-being.

My communication style

As your therapist, my primary goal is to help you develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we will work to identify and change negative thought patterns, build coping skills, overcome barriers, and cultivate a greater sense of self-understanding and acceptance within a caring and supportive therapeutic environment.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), equipping me with the knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based interventions. Throughout my career, I have been driven by the desire to empower individuals to lead more fulfilling lives by fostering resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth.

My goals for you

As your therapist, my primary goal is to help you develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we will work to identify and change negative thought patterns, build coping skills, and cultivate a greater sense of self-understanding and acceptance. I am committed to supporting you in overcoming obstacles and achieving your personal goals, all within a caring and supportive therapeutic environment.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance and understanding your unique needs and goals. I will take the time to listen to your story, gather relevant background information, and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific concerns and aspirations. This initial session serves as a foundation for our work together, setting the stage for a collaborative and transformative therapeutic journey.
