Hi there, I'm Victoria!

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in health psychology. With extensive experience working with adult clients facing various acute and chronic mental health conditions, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on understanding each individual's unique needs and experiences. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) based on the belief that people's reactions to stressful events are influenced by their attitudes, which shape their behaviors and emotional well-being. By helping clients become more self-aware, we work together to change maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that negatively impact their quality of life.

My focus

I work primarily with adult individuals seeking support for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, chronic illness, emotional disturbance, stress management, women's issues, and general life coaching. My goal is to help clients expand their strengths and overcome barriers interfering with their personal growth and advancement.

My communication style

Communication is key in our therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Through open and honest dialogue, we will collaborate to develop personalized strategies that resonate with your unique needs and goals. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care and am fluent in Armenian in addition to English.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD), equipping me with the knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based interventions. Throughout my career, I have been driven by the desire to empower individuals to lead more fulfilling lives by fostering resilience, self-awareness, and personal growth.

My goals for you

As your therapist, my primary goal is to help you develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we will work to identify and change negative thought patterns, build coping skills, and cultivate a greater sense of self-understanding and acceptance. I am committed to supporting you in overcoming obstacles and achieving your personal goals, all within a caring and supportive therapeutic environment.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance and understanding your unique needs and goals. I will take the time to listen to your story, gather relevant background information, and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific concerns and aspirations. This initial session serves as a foundation for our work together, setting the stage for a collaborative and transformative therapeutic journey.
