My approach
I offer a non-pathologizing and empowering understanding of human issues to make the changes you wish to manifest in life. I borrow from many sources that collectively make up my style, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Mindfulness-Based, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, Trauma-Focused, and Dialectical (DBT) approaches.
My focus
I specialize in working with individuals on mood challenges (depression, anxiety, fears, anger), post-traumatic stress/abuse, substance use dependence, defining life goals, and social issues. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and can relate to ethnic and racial discrimination.

My journey to mental healthcare
From August 2013 through August 2016, I completed my supervised clinical hours for licensure with Santa Cruz County.
