I'm Dr. Aline Nguyen, a marriage and family therapist licensed in California with over six years of experience as a mental health clinician. My clinical specialization includes individual therapy, helping young adults manage life transitions, childhood trauma in adults, and minority mental health.
My approach
My therapeutic approach combines cognitive behavioral, family systems, and strength-based therapy. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients toward achieving their goals.
My focus
I have worked in various settings: a school-based counseling program for students and their families, outpatient mental health treatment, and a university center for counseling and diagnostic services. I have experience working with couples, families, and children. I helped many people with specific concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and academic stress. I am currently accepting adult clients for individual therapy.
