Hi there, I'm Emily!

My name is Emily Morales, my preferred pronouns are (she/her/ella) I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I have been providing therapy for more than 10 years. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, the LGBTQIA2+ community, the neurodiverse community, chronic pain, chronic illness, post-partum, sex-positive therapist, diversity issues, trauma, crisis support, and community resourcing. I am fluent in Spanish and can provide therapy in Spanish. My therapeutic approach involves trauma-informed care, self-empowerment, a solution-focused approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skill building interventions, psycho-education, and narrative theory where the individual is the expert, and the therapist offers options to the individual so they can take on their life’s challenges. I believe in the individual having the answers and therapy being a tool for unlocking your inner strengths. I believe in meeting the client where they are and providing support in areas that you desire to strengthen. I believe in everyone's diversity. We all have unique experiences and unique ways of thinking. By using the narrative therapy approach I feel that I can honor an individual's journey of lived experiences by respecting their way of seeing the world.
