I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both the States of California and Texas with nearly a decade of experience working with adults, teenagers, children, and couples facing depression, anxiety, and life changes.
My approach
My approach to therapy is through implementing modalities such as cognitive, narrative, strength-based, solution-focused, and family systems therapy to support you with challenges that you are facing and goals that you want to reach.
My focus
My ideal clients are ones who are facing depression, anxiety, or life changes ( grief, childbirth, divorce, moving locations, friendship challenges, new jobs, etc.)
My communication style
The environment I provide is inviting, calm, and safe. Therapy with me is compassionate, direct, creative, and effective.
My journey to mental healthcare
What attracted me to becoming a therapist has been the natural trait of me being a helper and a really good listener throughout my lifetime. I also enjoy hearing people's stories and supporting them through topics they do not typically share with anyone.
My goals for you
I approach goal setting in a collaborative way with clients. My clients choose their goals and together we add some measurements and deadlines to some of them for accountability.
My first session with you
During the first session, clients should expect to share what challenges they are facing and how it is negatively impacting them. Together we will build a plan on how to reach their goals and build rapport and trust with each other.
