I am a licensed therapist with over 13 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, children, couples, and families. My areas of specialization include addressing trauma, self-worth, depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, and spirituality.
My approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered and rooted in humanistic values. I integrate strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, and supportive therapy to assist people with meeting their identified goals.
My focus
I work with individuals, families, couples, and minors aged 13-17. My specialty areas include addiction, adolescents/teens, alcohol use, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, career counseling, child abuse or neglect, chronic illness, coping skills, depression, divorce, drug abuse, grief, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD.
My communication style
I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental environment that encourages the sharing of experiences, absent of fear and judgment. I am simply a guide who believes that every person has the ability to achieve personal growth.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Clark Atlanta University between August 2003 and August 2005 in Atlanta, GA.

In our first session, we will focus on understanding your needs, goals, and expectations for therapy. I will create a safe and comfortable environment where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. Together, we will begin to develop a plan tailored to your unique situation and start working towards positive change.
