I'm passionate about working with my clients to help them address issues and get “unstuck.” It is such a joy to see others reach their goals!
My approach
My therapeutic approach is nonjudgmental, supportive, and eclectic. I am trained in CBT, Mindfulness, and EMDR, along with other modalities.
My focus
I am open to working with all individuals, although I specialize in “women’s issues” as well as life transitions and adjustments including job loss/change/retirement, relationship issues/divorce, grief/loss, parenting, and caregiving along with other challenging life circumstances.
My communication style
Warm and inviting. I start where you are and we go where it is helpful.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always worked in helping professions since college (undergrad). It’s my passion and I love what I do!
My goals for you
I let my clients set their own goals and support in clarifying those goals as needed.
My first session with you
A soft and friendly beginning as showing up is vulnerable! I may not be the right fit, but support and warmth (and possibly resources) are imperative during the first session!
