Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Shawn!

Hello, I'm Shawn Dugan, board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been a nurse in the psychiatric specialty for 17 years. I have experience working with clients of all ages, providing care for individuals requesting treatment for mental health and substance use disorders utilizing evidence-based methodology

My approach

My approach to treatment is holistic, person focused and I utilize a collaborative approach, where treatment is individually tailored to each person and the client takes an active role in their treatment planning.

My focus

I treat patients of all ages from younger children to adults in their later years. I am adept at treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD and substance use issues.

My communication style

I work to create a relaxed environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings and experiences and being actively heard while doing so.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've been in psychiatric nursing for 17+ years and love seeing the progress my patients make from one visit to the next. It is very rewarding to be able to assist people in achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.

My goals for you

I like to establish primary goals from the first meeting then revisit and monitor progress at each subsequent visit.

My first session with you

At the first meeting we will spend time discussing your present concerns, your past history and establishing goals for the future. We will conduct a thorough evaluation and create a plan of care.
