Hello, my name is Nicole Spahl. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing relationship-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy for people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression symptoms related to childhood or adult relationships, as well as prenatal, postpartum, and parenting support for caregivers.
My approach
I have a relationship-based, trauma-informed framework using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches to therapy.
My focus
The individuals I work with experience anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms, as well as relationship-based issues including prenatal, postpartum, and parenting concerns.
My communication style
Warmth, comfort, support, and trust are created within the therapeutic relationship. You will feel seen and heard throughout the process of learning, growing, and healing.
My journey to mental healthcare
For as long as I can remember, I have provided others with support, skills, and compassion. I enjoy helping others recover from the hurtful experiences of their pasts and find empowerment within themselves to live fulfilling and happy lives, with healthy relationships and strong self-esteem.
