Greetings, my name is Javana Banks and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I also have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My goal is to provide therapy services and assist individuals with doing what sprinkles their donuts while walking through their own journey to healing no matter what that may look like.
My approach
My approach to providing therapy is to allow the clients to embrace their own journey to healing. The most common theoretical approaches I use are client-centered, solution-focused, and narrative therapy.
My focus
I typically work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, childhood trauma, sexual abuse/assault and those are the ones I'm most comfortable treating seeing that I have the most experience in those areas.
My communication style
As a therapist, my goal is to create a warm and inviting environment where clients can express themselves freely and openly.
